We work with companies like Maersk, Lufthansa, and Zeiss. And we're growing fast! As (Senior) Key Account Manager, you'll own and grow our automotive customer base. You'll have real responsibility from day one, and what you build here will actually matter. You'll spend the majority of your time deepening relationships with existing enterprise accounts (expansion, additional use cases, renewals) while also opening a smaller number of new strategic accounts in the automotive and industrial supplier space. You'll work directly with our CEO and sales leadership to build the account strategy from the ground up. Your tasks <ul><li>Own a portfolio of existing automotive enterprise accounts, driving expansion and deepening carbmee's footprint.</li><li>Identify, develop and close new strategic accounts in automotive and adjacent supplier industries.</li><li>Build multi-threaded relationships across sustainability, procurement, and operations stakeholders at large automotive OEMs and Tier 1/2 suppliers.</li><li>Translate carbmee's carbon accounting and environmental intelligence platform into concrete value for automotive-specific challenges (CBAM, Scope 3, supply chain decarbonization)</li><li>Run a consultative, value-based sales process (MEDDIC or SPICED) rather than a feature-led pitch</li><li>Partner closely with our Forward Deployed Engineers team to ensure accounts are set up to renew and expand</li><li>Be a thought partner on how outcome-based and AI-driven selling motions layer on top of traditional SaaS sales</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>3+ years in enterprise SaaS sales or key account management, with a strong trajectory (quota overachievement, fast progression) weighted more heavily than years alone</li><li>Experience selling into automotive OEMs or Tier 1/2 suppliers, and fluency in the transformation challenges the industry is facing</li><li>Background from a PLM, enterprise software, or value-based SaaS environment, ideally with automotive or industrial manufacturing exposure</li><li>Prior startup or high-growth company experience: you know what it's like to build process, not just execute it</li><li>Proven quota attainment and a track record of growing existing accounts, not just closing new ones</li><li style="font-weight:bold;">Fluent German and English</li><li>Based in or willing to relocate to Munich: this role requires in-person presence (3 days x week) with the team and close collaboration with customer-facing colleagues.</li></ul> Benefits <ul><li>Unique &amp; Powerful Mission: join a fast-growing and ambitious tech company that is shaping the future of carbon management and fighting climate change</li><li>Compensation &amp; Rewards: a steep learning curve and ownership from day one.
