You will be responsible for conducting advanced market research, developing quantitative models and providing independent analysis that supports trading, sales and client activities. You will work across the EU ETS, ETS2, power markets, shipping-related market mechanisms and other environmental markets, identifying market drivers, analysing regulatory and policy developments, and assessing their impact on market fundamentals and pricing. The role combines deep analytical work with direct exposure to commercial decision-making, allowing you to influence how Vertis and its clients navigate evolving carbon and environmental markets. As one of the senior members of the team, you will be expected to lead complex research projects, contribute to Vertis' thought leadership through publications, webinars and conferences, and represent Vertis externally with market participants, industry stakeholders and clients.
