The primary goal of this role is to deliver high quality, validated modelling packages and solution templates that act as kick starters for tendering and project execution.How You Will Make an Impact•    Act as the system level modelling and simulation Subject Matter Expert for GPQSS Battery Energy Storage Systems. •    Provide independent technical judgment on model selection, fidelity, assumptions, and applicability to BESS solutions. •    Ensure modelling approaches correctly represent overall system behaviour, performance, and limitations from an application perspective. •    Serve as technical reference and escalation point for modelling related topics across GPQSS. •    Integrate OEM provided models (PCS, battery, control systems) into standardized GPQSS system level tem-plates. •    Develop, maintain, and validate reference BESS models and solution packages for RMS and EMT simula-tions. •    Execute solution validation studies to assess BESS performance, robustness, and compliance from an ap-plication and grid interaction perspective. •    Complement OEM models with in house modelling where required to close gaps or increase simulation fi-delity. •    Deliver validated modelling packages intended as kick starters for tendering and project execution. •    Provide methodology, validated models, and expert support to teams performing project specific grid and system studies. •    Technically steer and enable external consultants, Power Consultants, and project engineers to effectively use GPQSS modelling packages. •    Support tendering and feasibility phases through interpretation of simulation results and clarification of mod-elling assumptions. •    Support grid code compliance assessments by providing reference models and validation frameworks, not by executing full project studies. •    Prepare and deliver training, documentation, and guidance on BESS modelling approaches, tools, and best practices. •    Capture and disseminate lessons learned to continuously improve modelling templates and solution pack-ages. •    Contribute to cross disciplinary alignment with System Architect, AC BoS, Battery Technology, and Automa-tion roles.
