If you are looking for a role where your contribution is visible, your development matters, and your work supports a more sustainable future, Scatec may be the right place for you.Ready to make an impact?Why this role matters As a Mechanical Construction Supervisor, you will play an important role in supervising all mechanical activities at site, monitoring the physical progress of the works, and reporting status and deviations related to quality, time, cost, and HSSE. You will engage daily with the site managers of sub-suppliers. This is a role for someone who wants to combine technical expertise with leadership and purpose, learn in a fast-moving international business, and build experience in one of the world's most relevant industries. What you’ll be doing In this role, you will:<ul> <li>Supervise all mechanical construction activities on site, monitoring physical progress and reporting deviations related to quality, schedule, cost, and HSSE. Act as the main point of contact with subcontractors’ site management teams and oversee the execution of mechanical works, including trackers and mounting structures, PV modules, fencing, tower erection, and HV/MV mechanical equipment installation.</li> <li>Review and approve construction documentation submitted by contractors, including Method Statements and work procedures, coordinating with the Engineering team when technical validation is required. Support Quality teams in the review of material specifications, component datasheets, and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Plan and lead Pre-Construction Meetings with subcontractors for mechanical activities, ensuring all technical, quality, safety, and execution requirements are aligned and formally agreed before work commencement.</li> <li>Monitor and evaluate contractors’ daily progress, working closely with the Planning team to assess completion forecasts, identify risks, and implement corrective or recovery actions when required. Support quantity surveillance activities for measurable contracts where applicable.</li> <li>Manage technical queries and construction-related issues by coordinating with suppliers, the Lead Engineer, and the Civil Engineer, ensuring works are executed using the latest approved drawings, specifications, and manuals. Verify that red-marked documentation is maintained, updated, and properly signed throughout construction.</li> <li>Coordinate inspection and quality control activities with SSO and Quality Inspectors, ensuring adequate site coverage for critical activities, audits, witness points, hold points, and compliance verifications.</li> <li>Provide technical support to the PTM, Lead Engineer, and Civil Engineer, contributing to technical assessments, investigations, due diligence reviews, design evaluations, and the resolution of site execution challenges. Support the management of NCRs by following up on the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.</li> <li>Participate in final inspections, testing, and project close-out activities, ensuring timely completion of punch lists and the collection, verification, and handover of final documentation, including red-marked drawings and as-built records.</li></ul> Your work will support real decisions, real assets, and real operational outcomes.What you’ll gain <ul> <li>Professional growth through ownership, exposure, and meaningful contribution from day one</li> <li>Hands-on experience in a role where the challenge is energising, fast-moving, meaningful, and built on learning through doing.</li> <li>Direct experience leading and coordinating mechanical construction activities on large-scale renewable energy projects, working closely with contractors, engineers, and site stakeholders.</li> <li>Exposure to HV/MV equipment installation, tracker and mounting structure systems, quality control processes, and project commissioning activities within a global energy environment.</li></ul>What you’ll bringExperience and qualifications <ul> <li>Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related technical qualification. </li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC environments and medium to large-scale construction projects. </li> <li>Solid knowledge of mechanical construction practices, industry standards, and site execution activities. </li> <li>Understanding of Quality Control Systems and problem-solving methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis, Pareto Analysis, and Ishikawa. </li> <li>Experience in solar PV and/or High Voltage projects is highly desirable. </li> <li>Valid driver's license, strong MS Office skills, and fluency in the local language and English.</li></ul> What it’s like to work at ScatecAt Scatec, we combine purpose with performance.
