Your expertise in Azure, automation and cloud governance will contribute directly to our purpose: enabling fossil-free living through digital innovation and smarter use of data.Your roleWithin our Digital Platform Operations team, you will work with colleagues across cloud engineering, architecture, operations and data platforms to ensure that our Azure and Databricks environments remain secure, reliable and future-ready.You will play a key role in advancing a modern enterprise data platform that enables data-driven decision-making across Vattenfall while continuously improving automation, governance and user experience.Your key responsibilities:<ul><li>Designing, implementing and operating Azure-based cloud platform solutions</li><li>Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git and automation tools</li><li>Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code solutions using ARM, Bicep and scripting technologies</li><li>Automate provisioning, deployment and lifecycle management of cloud resources</li><li>Maintaining and improving self-service platform capabilities based on .NET Core and Angular</li><li>Ensuring platform reliability, availability and operational stability</li><li>Supporting administration and continuous improvement of Azure Databricks and Snowflake environments</li><li>Implementing security controls in alignment with enterprise policies and governance requirements</li><li>Collaborating with architects, developers and operations specialists to deliver secure and scalable cloud services</li></ul>Azure Databricks Platform Operations &amp; Governance:<ul><li>Operating and further developing Vattenfall’s Azure Databricks platform for analytics, data and AI workloads</li><li>Managing identity and access controls through Azure AD integration and RBAC principles</li><li>Supporting secure networking concepts including private endpoints and secure cluster connectivity</li><li>Implementing and maintaining data governance capabilities using Unity Catalog and related Databricks services</li><li>Managing platform resources using Infrastructure as Code approaches such as Terraform and ARM templates</li><li>Establishing compute standards, governance controls and cost optimisation practices</li><li>Enabling integrations with Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Snowflake and other enterprise services</li><li>Supporting onboarding and adoption of platform capabilities across teams</li><li>Contributing to monitoring, logging and security improvements throughout the platform landscape</li></ul>Platform Improvement &amp; FinOps<ul><li>Identifying opportunities to improve performance, cost efficiency and sustainability of cloud services</li><li>Enhancing automation and self-service capabilities for platform users</li><li>Supporting the introduction of new cloud, AI and analytics capabilities</li><li>Helping to create a seamless developer and data practitioner experience across the platform ecosystem</li></ul>LocationBerlin, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Katowice
