Additionally, direct experience working in the energy and natural resources value chain, for example, oil processing / refineries, gas processing facilities, midstream / pipeline operations, petrochemical plants, fuels marketing and retailing, energy and commodity trading, will be advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of Downstream, or broader natural resources sectors, with an understanding of industry dynamics, value chains, and the implications of the energy transition.</li><li>Familiarity with the commercial fundamentals of oil processing and conversion assets, for example margins and crack spreads, oil and product qualities, netback pricing and differentials.</li><li>Experience in asset-level or market modelling tools is advantageous, for example linear programming and optimisation methodologies, supply-demand balancing, and price forecasting.</li><li>Interest in, and working knowledge of, how energy transition pressures are impacting existing industrial assets, including fuel specification changes, biofuels and renewable fuels co-processing, SAF and HVO, carbon intensity and emissions costs, and the impact of electrification on product markets.</li><li>Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, including data analysis, modelling, market assessment, and strategic evaluation.
