You will lead financial reporting, internal controls, audit, tax, and<br>accounting policy, and build the team and processes needed to support multi-site production at<br>scale.<br><br>The ideal candidate has led accounting in a manufacturing or high-growth environment, is<br>equally comfortable setting policy and executing the close, and wants to build the systems<br>rather than inherit them.</div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><div>• Own the accounting function end to end — general ledger, monthly and annual close, and<br>the accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements.<br>• Establish and maintain accounting policies in accordance with GAAP, including technical<br>accounting positions and supporting documentation.<br>• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls over financial reporting; prepare the<br>organization for increasing audit and investor scrutiny.<br>• Manage the annual audit and all external reporting requirements, serving as the primary<br>contact for external auditors.<br>• Own tax compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, coordinating with external<br>tax advisors.<br>• Lead, hire, and develop the accounting team, including accounting management, cost<br>accounting, and staff-level roles.<br>• Own the ERP and accounting systems roadmap, driving automation and scalability as<br>transaction volume grows.<br>• Partner with FP&amp;A, operations, and supply chain to ensure inventory, cost, and project<br>accounting accurately reflect the business.<br>• Ensure compliance and accurate cost accounting for government-funded programs and<br>grants.</div></ul><h3>Qualifications: </h3><ul><div>• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Controller or<br>Assistant Controller.<br>• CPA required or strongly preferred.<br>• Deep GAAP knowledge with demonstrated ownership of technical accounting positions and<br>audit outcomes.<br>• Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory, standard costing, and overhead<br>absorption.<br>• Experience designing and implementing internal controls in a scaling organization.<br>• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP or a comparable system; implementation or optimization<br>experience strongly preferred.<br>• Experience managing and developing an accounting team.<br>• Ability to thrive in ambiguity — excited to build, iterate, and optimize in a fast-moving<br>company.<br>• Experience with government contracts, grants, or cost-reimbursable programs is a plus.</div></ul><h3>What We Offer:</h3><ul><div>This pay range reflects best estimate for the total cash compensation which includes salary +<br>discretionary bonus for this role.
