Key Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li>Project Development: leads assigned projects in addition to supporting more senior development team members in completing the following functions:<ul><li>Land and Title: secure site control necessary for project, access, and interconnection. Assist in ordering, reviewing, and clearing titles</li><li>Permitting: identify applicable local, state, and federal permitting requirements and assist in the preparation and submission of permit applications while maintaining compliance</li><li>Public Relations and Outreach: assess project needs and work with project team to execute strategy for fostering external relationships with local officials, stakeholders and members of the community</li><li>Electrical Interconnection: research and interpret tariff rules regarding generator interconnection. Assist in the preparation and submission of interconnection applications and management of ongoing interconnection studies and financial exposure</li><li>Project Management: manage project budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and fiscal analysis including creating and presenting project scopes, schedules, and cost-effective budgets to support internal approval processes</li><li>Team coordination: interface with engineering, legal, finance, procurement, construction, energy marketing and executive team members to accurately define and mitigate project risks and provide concise updates on project status</li><li>Commercial Offtake: assist in tracking and bidding on applicable opportunities to deliver competitive results</li></ul></li><li>All other duties as required</li></ul> Work Experience &amp; Requirements:<ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Education: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degree a plus</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Years of experience: 1-3 years of proven development experience in the renewable sector, preferably within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Must have strong organizational skills and be an articulate speaker with the willingness to continually improve presentation skills</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and management software to support project scheduling, budgeting and presentations; financial model experience preferred</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Motivated to work in a small team within a fast-paced, remote enviornment</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Ability to travel and possess a valid license to drive an automobile</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Open to candidates with peace corps, veteran, or other public service experience</li></ul> Physical Requirements: <ul style="margin-bottom:4px;"><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li><li style="margin-bottom:4px;margin-left:8px;">Must have ability to identify and distinguish colors</li></ul> </div>
