This role will utilize analytical skills to identify opportunities and develop solutions that result in optimal material flow at the lowest total landed cost. Develop process improvements within the Materials department.  YOUR IMPACTThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:  <ul><li>Compile data from ERP systems, spreadsheet, and other sources to support decision-making in conjunction with the Plan for Every Part process. </li><li>Reduce excess material handling inside facilities, between facilities and to and from local suppliers through value stream analysis and application of PFEP principles. </li></ul><ul><li>Support standardization, advancement and implementation of a lean enterprise material flow strategy. </li><li>Work with the Materials and Operations department to introduce, promote, and implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and improve efficiency. </li><li>Run and compile various reports as well as run various data analytics to understand the data </li><li>Assist in the continuous improvement techniques including Continuous Improvement events and 5S. </li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Manufacturing Management, Business, Engineering, or related field for entire duration of internship. </li></ul>STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>GPA of 3.0 or greater </li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. </li></ul>Pay Range:$18.00 - $37.00<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
