Security Clearance:<ul><li>Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario or New Brunswick.</li><li>Able to obtain and maintain a valid security clearance.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering design experience, preferably with Consulting or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects in nuclear or heavy industrial/commercial industry.</li><li>Proven expertise in Electrical system design and studies such as power distribution system design, load flow studies, short circuit studies, voltage drop study (motor starting study), transformer energization, arc flash studies, equipment and cable protection design, protection and coordination studies.</li><li>Experience preparing system design requirements and technical specifications and be knowledgeable about applicable regulatory documents, codes and standards.</li><li>Good working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, Ontario Electrical safety code preferred.</li><li>Skilled in developing single-line drawings, detailed wiring diagrams, electrical floor plan, riser diagram, cable schedules, panel schedules, installation details, load calculations, cable tray sizing/fill calculations, protective relay settings, bill of materials, technical specifications and datasheets, construction and commissioning specifications.</li><li>Familiarity with ageing management studies for electrical components and performing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).</li><li>Proficiency in electrical power system engineering software (ETAP etc.) and CAD tools (AutoCAD etc.).</li><li>Proficiency with Engineering Change Control (ECC) process at nuclear power stations preferred.</li><li>Experience witnessing factory acceptance tests and supporting commissioning activities.</li></ul>Industry Background: Previous experience in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, or medical, and/or in heavy industrial such mining, oil and gas, with direct interaction across departments, vendors, clients, and stakeholders.Project &amp;
