Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.</li><li>Conduct engineering design/analysis using spreadsheets and programming tools</li><li>Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, construction specifications, and final working drawings using programs such as ArcGIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D</li><li>Work with CAD designers to produce construction-level drawings including grading, drainage and roadway plans, profiles, details, and sections.</li><li>Use computer software such as HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS as a tool for solving basic engineering problems</li><li>Perform frequency storm and probable maximum precipitation hydrologic analyses</li><li>Conduct hydraulic analyses and design of channels, culverts, bridges, flow measurement, and flood mapping</li><li>Prepare reservoir and pond designs including geosynthetic lining, leak detection/collection systems, breach analysis, outlet works, and spillways</li><li>Design channels and energy dissipation structures that include concrete, riprap, articulated concrete block, fabric-formed concrete, and baffle blocks for erosion control</li><li>Coordinate with OSE, EPA, and other agencies for permit preparation</li><li>Perform work in accordance with agreed upon scope, budget, and schedule</li><li>Scope/estimate complex civil &amp; hydraulics projects</li><li>Track and manage task budgets and schedules</li><li>Write reports and prepare detailed calculation packages including proper documentation and references</li></ul>
