<h2>The Team</h2>***Please note: This position forms part of our Saudization initiative and we are only able to consider applications from Saudi nationals.*** Cundall is leading the way in delivering creative and sustainability-focused building design solutions in the MENA region and across the globe. With an expanding footprint in the region, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Financial Accountant to support the financial operations of our Saudi Arabia entity. This role is critical in ensuring the sound maintenance and production of accurate accounting records, reporting, and compliance, while also supporting local management and contributing to group-level financial initiatives.<h2>The Role</h2>Working closely with the KSA Country Director and Office Manager, and reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the Financial Accountant will:  <ul> <li>Prepare monthly management accounts within tight deadlines for review by Senior Financial Accountant.</li> <li>Process monthly intercompany billing and control regular payments to group.</li> <li>Prepare annual budget for region, along with variance analysis actuals vs budget.</li> <li>Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and management working capital.</li> <li>Prepare invoices (including Arabic invoices), coordinate with project managers for timely submission, and post them in Deltek.</li> <li>Follow up with clients post-invoicing and on due dates.</li> <li>Prepare and share Statements of Account (SoA) when requested.</li> <li>Load, check, and post accounts payable (AP) invoices.</li> <li>Prepare credit card reports and chase for supporting receipts.</li> <li>Maintain the cashbook, perform bank reconciliations, and support payment run preparation.</li> <li>Review, approve, and post employee expenses and credit card transactions.</li> <li>Support payroll processing.</li> <li>Set up payments for suppliers.</li> <li>Submit and manage VAT and ZATCA tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance in KSA.</li> <li>Submit GOSI reports and liaise with other KSA government portals.</li> <li>Support local audits, year-end reporting, and local content compliance.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and compliant local accounting books and records.</li></ul>You will play a vital role in ensuring internal deadlines are met and external obligations are fulfilled, while also building strong working relationships with colleagues across the finance function and other departments.<h2>The Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).</li> <li>3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a private practice and/or international business.</li> <li>Knowledge of KSA tax regulations (including ZATCA), GOSI, and local government requirements.</li> <li>Strong Excel and reporting skills; highly numerate and analytical.</li> <li>Excellent communication and time management skills.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and collaborate across departments and geographies.</li> <li>Experience working in or with professional partnerships and/or engineering or consulting firms is a plus.</li></ul> Job Description Your career at Cundall We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
