Grow here.  At AECOM  we are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager:Civil Aviation Infrastructure join us at our Dublin office.This role is primarily site-based, with attendance on site required four days per week and one day per week available for remote working.We are seeking a Senior Project Manager:Civil Aviation Infrastructure with 15+ years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle. Working within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, you will provide strategic leadership, oversee multidisciplinary project teams, and lead the successful delivery of high-profile developments from project inception through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.In this role, you will play a key leadership role in delivering a major, multi-year capital investment programme transforming a nationally significant infrastructure asset.We encourage applications from candidates with:<ul><li>Extensive experience working with the NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor, or consultancy environment.</li><li>Proven experience delivering projects within the aviation sector or other operationally complex, live infrastructure environments.</li><li>Demonstrated success delivering major capital infrastructure programmes with responsibility for cost, schedule, risk, governance, and stakeholder management.</li><li>Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring Project Managers.</li><li>Strong client-facing, commercial, and leadership skills with experience managing senior stakeholder relationships.</li></ul>Here’s what you’ll do: Programme Requirements, Standards &amp; Performance<ul><li>Oversee and monitor project delivery, ensuring effective management of schedule, interfaces, costs, variations, contracts, and risks, while coordinating with relevant stakeholders and functions as required.</li><li>Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with the Contracting Entity’s standards, methodologies, and strategic objectives.</li><li>Manage and maintain the project relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager and other key stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed performance, quality, safety, and governance requirements.Team Management</li><li>Lead and manage a team of Project Managers responsible for the successful delivery of individual projects within the programme.</li><li>Provide direction, oversight, and support to ensure appropriate project management processes, controls, and performance measures are implemented and maintained.</li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive resource plans to support the effective delivery of all projects under the Senior Project Manager’s remit.</li><li>Provide technical, commercial, and contractual guidance to Project Managers in the execution of their responsibilities.</li><li>Monitor, review, and report on project and team performance, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with the Programme Director and wider programme team to resolve challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.Project Management Activities</li><li>Lead the overall coordination and integration of projects, ensuring interfaces and dependencies are identified and managed throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Maintain and manage the Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed (RACI) matrix and associated governance frameworks.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee the activities of design consultants, technical teams, contractors, and other external service providers.</li><li>Chair and facilitate design review meetings, ensuring timely design approvals and communication of design acceptance to contractors.</li><li>Manage the communication and implementation of design changes, ensuring all affected stakeholders are informed and engaged.</li><li>Prepare and deliver regular project performance reports covering progress, key milestones, risks, issues, and construction activities.</li><li>Maintain the project risk register, ensuring risks are actively managed, reviewed, and reported through regular progress meetings.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, procedures, templates, and reporting tools.</li><li>Implement and monitor performance management and project control measures.</li><li>Manage the project change control process and ensure appropriate governance and approvals are maintained.</li><li>Oversee the effective flow of information between the project team, client, and stakeholders through structured meetings, reporting, and communications.</li></ul>
