The Advanced Grid Solutions Team within the Solutions and Technology Organization has the mission to drive market adoption of transformative utility solutions via industry engagement, technical solution consultation, and continuous innovation.Solution Directors at the Advanced Grid Solutions Team are technical experts in Grid Analytics, Distributed Resource Energy Management Systems (DERMS), Flexibility Management, Non-Wires Alternatives and Advanced Demand Response. They play a key role in the sales process by deeply understanding customer use cases and leading the evaluation of technology solutions that address client needs.  This position plays a critical role in enabling Landis+Gyr to bring innovative solutions and products to market.  Solutions Directors work in close collaboration with each opportunity's assigned sales account team and serve as the key technical advisor during the solution identification, proposal development, presentation and negotiation phase of each opportunity.The Solutions Director must be able to clearly articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical stakeholders, proactively identify all technical issues of assigned accounts and ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Education and Experience: •    Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field; MBA/Masters preferred. •    Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience. •    Utility industry experience strongly preferred. •    Familiarity with utility operations, AMI, Cloud technologies, Grid Analytics, DERMS, Non-Wires Alternatives, Advanced Demand Response is a plus. •    Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus. •    Familiarity with SaaS offerings is a plus.
