And that’s where you come in.Job Description:The Senior Project Planner will play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects, responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing potential risks, and providing insights to drive decision-making. This individual will serve as a pivotal point of contact for project reporting and planning, contributing to the efficient execution of company objectives.  Key Accountabilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using designated planning tools.</li><li>Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring alignment with planned milestones and project goals.</li><li>Analyze and identify risks, delays, or challenges that may impact project execution, and provide recommendations for mitigation.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate schedules and ensure resource availability.</li><li>Prepare and present accurate project reports, detailing progress, risks, and variances to stakeholders and management.</li><li>Continuously evaluate scheduling metrics to improve processes and enhance forecasting accuracy.  </li></ul>Key Requirements:<ul><li>Strong proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).</li><li>Demonstrated experience in project planning within an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Proficient in analyzing and interpreting complex data to forecast project outcomes.</li><li>Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field required.</li><li>Certification in project planning and scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP) is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory.  </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in planning large-scale projects within a matrix organizational framework.</li><li>Background in risk management or control systems is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of analytics and reporting tools.</li><li>Proficiency in additional languages will be considered an advantage.</li></ul>Base Salary : $101,772 – $128,825The Company provides an extensive benefits program for all full-time employees working 24 or more hours per week and their eligible dependents, including the following:<ul><li>Health, Dental and Vision plans - 100% of premiums are company-paid </li><li>Retirement Savings Plan with a company match</li><li>Company paid holidays - 3 weeks of vacation</li><li>Company provided Life and accident Insurance,  LTD </li><li>Worklife programs such as Flextime and a variety of Development and Training opportunities </li></ul><ul><li></li></ul>* This posting relates to an existing vacancy. * Artificial intelligence may be used in the screening or assessment process for this role.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
