Must have the ability, skills, and temperament to train other technicians on Sullair rotary products and accessories.  Provides maintenance and technical support for Sullair products at customer field locations. Installs new products or enhances existing ones and may provide training and best practices for on-site customer personnel. Identifies and troubleshoots all possible malfunctions and conducts or schedules repairs. Prepare detailed service reports to document service visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions. Logs and tracks maintenance activities. Work with various departments at Hitachi Global Air Power to address concerns from the field to drive issues to a timely closure.  Document service visits and generate reports with action items. Support the Sullair Training Department for customers, distributors, and employees. This position will report directly to the Field Service Manager.Duties and responsibilities:<ul><li>Performs any needed service on all compressed air products, regardless of brand, except for centrifugal technology</li><li>Train other technicians on all rotary products and accessories</li><li>Travel to field jobsites for troubleshooting, and service of Sullair and competitive rotary products</li><li>Follow standard work for pre and post service preparation (submit expense reports, prepare service reports, make travel arrangements, complete timecards)</li><li>On call as scheduled for after-hours customer support</li><li>Follow all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures</li><li>Communicate distributor feedback to Sullair management as Voice of Customer</li><li>Drive field concerns to closure in a timely manner</li><li>Support goal of service within the Service Department of 95%</li><li>Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers</li><li>Perform all duties in accordance with company standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer</li><li>Dedicated to completion of responsibilities</li><li>Must be fluent in English and have a valid driver's license.
