The position is based in downtown Mississauga, Canada.</div>Accountabilities:<ul><li>Responsible for supporting assigned Quality Assurance activities and Quality Control activities at the installation and Commissioning site, reporting directly to the on-site QA/QC Manager.</li><li>Witnessing and verifying inspections/testing and/or conducting inspections of various systems, subsystems including Post Installation Checkout, Site Acceptance Test, site Integration test, as assigned by the QA/QC Manager</li><li>Interfacing with the program level team, as well as subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure the proper execution of the project in accordance with applicable planning documents and contractual requirements</li><li>Managing, tracking, and resolving site NCRs and deficiencies, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions and successful closure in accordance with quality standards and project requirements.</li><li>Supporting the onsite quality daily and long-term interfaces with the primary subcontractors</li></ul>Required Skills/Experience:<ul><li>5 years' experience in a Project environment including field installation and delivery.</li><li>5 years' experience working in Quality Management within the public transit industry; including all federal, state, local and company-specific regulations related to product quality.</li><li>ISO 9001:2015 implementation experience, Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification, or equivalent competency</li><li>Experience auditing systems, processes, products both internally and externally</li><li>Experience in managing, tracking, and resolving site NCRs and deficiencies, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions and successful closure in accordance with quality standards and project requirements.</li><li>Good communication skills in relaying technical information via verbal or written communication</li><li>Have demonstrated experience with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation and records management.</li><li>Experience in reading technical documents, drawings and / or schematics</li><li>Knowledge of quality methods (such as PDCA, FTA, NCR)</li><li>Team player</li><li>Good problem-solving skills</li><li>Knowledge of quality methods (such as PDCA, FTA, NCR)</li><li>Team player</li></ul>Education:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Quality Management or equivalent technical experienceOther requirements:<ul><li>Full-time on-site presence is required.</li><li>Clear Criminal Background is required</li></ul>Salary Range - CAD $85,592 - CAD $128,388The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
