We collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accounting operations and business decisions are compliant with IFRS and local GAAP regulations. The mission of our Team is to provide valuable insight and reliable financial information for the internal and external stakeholders. Our Team’s capabilities are gathered for the years of experience within areas of Revenue, GL, Tax, Internal Controls, JSOX, Statutory Accounting and External Audit. Expertise knowledge allows us to lead the most important international corporate projects. In your role as Internal Controls and Accounting Manager for Hitachi Digital you will :<ul><li>Maintain an effective Internal Controls environment</li><li>Lead compliance activities related to J-SOX (Japanese SOX)</li><li>Perform periodic risk assessments and evaluate the adequacy of key controls</li><li>Coordinate control testing activities and remediation plans for identified deficiencies</li><li>Monitor compliance with corporate policies and financial procedures</li><li>Own corporate accounting policies</li><li>Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings</li><li>Develop and maintain process documentation, control narratives, and standard operating procedures in cooperation with business owners</li><li>Manage complex accounting transactions and provide technical accounting guidance</li><li>Monitor changes in regulations and accounting standards and assess business impact</li></ul>What you'll bring to the team • At least 3-5 years of experience in similar roles<ul><li>Strong background in internal controls, governance, and financial reporting</li></ul>• Ability to take decisions, identify problems and proactively come up with solutions • Working knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and SOX • Accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA; PIBR might be in progress) will be your additional asset • Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with business sense • An ability to work under pressure, manage expectations and meet deadlines • Fluent level of English<ul><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Excellent business acumen and judgment and demonstrated ability to work closely and build sustainable business partnerships with Finance &amp; other global functions.</li></ul>Our ValuesWe strive to create an inclusive environment for all and are open to considering home working, compressed/flexible hours and flexible arrangements.
