Your tasks<ul><li>Design, develop, and validate mechanical components, assemblies, and complete system solutions for dairy farming applications, including advanced milk harvesting technologies.</li><li>Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering documentation using Siemens NX within a Teamcenter environment, ensuring compliance with ISO drawing standards.</li><li>Support the planning, execution, operation, and presentation of laboratory and field tests to validate product performance and reliability.</li><li>Apply simulation techniques, including structural analysis and fluid flow evaluation, to support product design and optimization activities.</li><li>Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure design for manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and product quality.</li><li>Interface with enterprise systems such as SAP and maintain accurate engineering and product-related data.</li><li>Evaluate material selection and assess the impact of chemical interactions on product performance and durability.</li><li>Collaborate with global engineering teams and cross-functional departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, and Quality to achieve project objectives.</li><li>Support engineering activities across international locations, including Germany, Canada, USA, and New Zealand, while working effectively in a multicultural environment.</li><li>Contribute to innovation initiatives by following established engineering procedures, proposing product and process improvements, and supporting continuous development activities.</li><li>Demonstrate independent problem-solving, flexibility in managing assigned project goals, and the ability to present technical findings and recommendations to the engineering team.</li><li>Provide ideas, alternatives, and recommendations that support product strategy, project direction, and future development within Farm Technologies.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsYour profile<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline such as Electromechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.</li><li>2–5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or product development.</li><li>Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using Siemens NX is preferred; experience with other 3D CAD software is also considered.</li><li>Experience in prototyping, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&amp;T application, and design for manufacturability principles.</li><li>Experience working with Microsoft Office applications for technical documentation, reporting, and collaboration.</li><li>Familiarity with SAP and PLM systems is desirable.</li><li>Good understanding of relevant standards, directives, and machinery regulations (e.g., CE marking, ISO machinery standards).</li><li>Experience with FEM analysis, simulation tools, and structured test validation methods is beneficial.</li><li>Self-motivated and structured working style with strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.</li><li>Strong interest in innovative technologies combined with practical engineering judgement.</li><li>Good written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of German is considered beneficial.</li><li>Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is advantageous.</li></ul>We Offer<ul><li>A challenging role in an international, technology-driven organization.</li><li>Hands-on work with modern machines, SPMs, and advanced technologies.</li><li>Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, service, and digital domains.</li><li>An enthusiastic and motivated team with strong technical expertise.</li><li>Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
