<p>We are seeking an experienced and visionary Architect - Building to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design development and management of building projects, ensuring excellence in architectural planning, compliance with local regulations, and seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with innovative thinking, delivering constructible solutions that meet both client expectations and Saudi Arabia's stringent building standards.</p><ul><li>Lead and manage the design development of building projects from concept through detailed design and final implementation, adhering to Saudi Building Code and local authority guidelines</li><li>Review, coordinate, and approve architectural design deliverables at various stages including concept, preliminary, detailed, and construction-ready designs</li><li>Ensure all designs comply with Saudi Arabia's building regulations, municipal requirements, and applicable international standards</li><li>Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities including structural systems, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), fire safety, accessibility, and landscape integration</li><li>Analyze and provide technical input on design calculations, architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates</li><li>Manage design interfaces between architectural, structural, and building systems to identify and eliminate clashes and design conflicts</li><li>Review and respond to authority design review comments and feedback, ensuring timely incorporation and formal closure</li><li>Liaise directly with municipal authorities, building departments, and relevant stakeholders during design development and approval processes</li><li>Ensure compliance with building safety standards, accessibility requirements, and sustainable design principles</li><li>Support preparation and review of authority submissions, permits, and necessary approvals for building projects</li><li>Participate in design coordination meetings, technical workshops, and value engineering sessions to optimize project outcomes</li><li>Identify design risks and propose innovative, cost-effective, and constructible solutions that enhance project value</li><li>Provide comprehensive technical support during tender stages, including responding to queries, addenda, and design clarifications</li><li>Support construction teams by reviewing requests for information (RFIs), design changes, and technical queries during project execution</li><li>Mentor junior architects and design staff, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring design deliverables meet quality and schedule standards</li><li>Maintain proper document control and ensure adherence to project Design Management Plans and quality assurance procedures</li><li>Contribute to preparation of as-built documentation and design closeout materials upon project completion</li></ul>
