This includes but not limited to strategy and design, analysis. administration, and execution and delivery of ad hoc compensation reporting needs for all Equity strategies globally. In addition, this role will work closely with the Principal and Associate supporting the Equity businesses to drive a successful year-end compensation process across all stakeholder groups. This role may be partnered with members of the broader Human Capital team including Human Capital Business Partners, Benefits, HC Operations, Payroll, BP&amp;A, Comp Finance, Carry/Co, Legal, as well as business leaders across the firm. This position will report to the Principal, Compensation for Equity businesses.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Assist the Compensation team with compensation design, analysis, comp expense budgeting/forecasting, and the implementation of new or revised compensation programs (including carried interest plans)</li><li>Provides support and insight into offer letters, separations, promotions, and internal mobility</li><li>Engaged in the year-end annual compensation process with preparation of the compensation system, bonus pool analysis, production of compensation templates for managers, compensation statements for employees, and enhancements of related year-end processes</li><li>Monitors market trends and continuously evaluate market competitiveness of compensation structures including owning the Equity team’s market data matching and data submission.</li><li>Improves current state of function through automation and repeatable report creation for respective businesses.</li><li>Identify areas for efficiency improvement using AI and execute development of solutions.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>2+ years of experience – mix of compensation, strategy, and/or data analytics background</li><li>Experience in data handling, reporting and excellent knowledge of Excel including macro building</li><li>Superior communication and listening skillset.</li><li>Ability to independently take on multiple tasks with high degree of attention to detail.</li><li>Proactive “go-getter” that offers suggestions for improvement and actively pushes Compensation function forward in both efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Experience in designing and administering compensation structures, processes, policies.</li><li>Strong understanding of year-end compensation process.</li><li>Candidates must have an analytical, logical thought process for developing solutions.</li><li>Strong financial accounting acumen (e.g., GAAP) a plus.</li><li>Understanding of carried interest and co-investment programs a plus.</li></ul>Apollo provides equal employment opportunities regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, race, color, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, veteran status, gender/sex or sexual orientation, or any other criterion or circumstance protected by applicable law, ordinance, or regulation.
