Responsibilities:The HR Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for the UK HR team by offering a professional customer service regarding HR polices and advice to employees and managers.This key and varied role will be responsible for transactional HR administration within the employee lifecycle and would complete tasks such as<ul><li>Managing the Chelmsford HR Helpdesk and phone lines,</li><li>Providing guidance to employees and managers</li><li>Management of HR ticketing tool and shared inbox</li><li>On and off boarding of employees.</li><li>Processing and communication of employee data (the administration of contractual offers, employee changes)</li><li>Induction of new joiners</li><li>Updating the HRIS ensuring the accuracy of all data (Workday)</li><li>Administration support for the company reward schemes such as third party benefit providers, Long Service Awards</li><li>Prepare standard and ad hoc reports</li><li>Develop and maintain Procedures, Policies and Work Instructions</li><li>Co-ordinate and support key HR projects within the department</li><li>In this role you will work closely and support with the wider HR team. For example, notetaking for disciplinary hearings, grievances, support with consultations and redundancies, mandatory collective bargaining activity</li></ul>Qualifications:The successful HR Coordinator will have:<ul><li>Worked within a busy HR function previously</li><li>Experience of Workday system</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills</li><li>Skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask with a process improvement mind-set</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and “right first time” approach to work and ability to maintain this during busy periods</li><li>Personal accountability and ownership with a level of tenacity to ensure a positive customer experience in everything you do</li><li>Proactive and self-motivated, confident team worker</li><li>Knowledge of Success Factors, Cornerstone and/or iCIMS would be advantageous</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
