We offer interesting and challenging tasks, a positive working environment in international teams, and opportunities for personal development and growth in a global company.  The selected candidate for the Technical Service Support 2nd Level role:<ul><li>Guarantees 2nd level technical assistance towards the local R&amp;C Service organization initiating corrective actions through usage of CRM (C4C) ticket system and support by distributing upon requirements 3rd level inhouse support</li><li>Initiates and registers in Claims &amp; Complaints system for full resolve on topics arising in the market on already installed machines.</li><li>Provides1st level mechanical services in Italy and abroad on both predictive and proactive level.</li><li>Does Installation &amp; Commissioning on simple and complex systems.</li><li>Support technically either local R&amp;C GEA Service or end customers where no local GEA Service Support is available.</li><li>Proposes technical solutions for problems emerging in all of the complete life cycle of the machines.</li><li>Provides support and training guidelines for operating standards and Service procedures to both local as to customer Service teams.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsThe ideal candidate must have:<ul><li>A good experience as a service mechanic or similar roles (i.e. FAT / SAT expert or technical support).</li><li>Basic knowledge of industrial electrical engineering is also appreciated.</li><li>Secondary School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar.</li><li>Compulsory languages: English, Spanish (written and spoken). High Technical and Communication skills to interact with other internal departments.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (mechanical drawings and possibly electrical diagrams.</li><li>Knowledge of SAP tool is appreciated.</li></ul>This role requires the availability for travel with a duration up to 5 continuous days and for approximately 50% of the annual working hours. Overseas if required may be up to 10 days.The position falls under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with job classification and level to be defined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.The indicative gross annual salary range for this role is between €35,000 and €40,000, depending on experience, technical expertise, level of autonomy, and market alignment.The overall compensation package may also include variable components and additional company benefits, which will be discussed during the selection process.GEA is proudly certified as a Top Employer, confirming our commitment to employee well-being, development, and empowerment.Ready to engineer a better world with us?
