Be part of the team in Huntsville, Alabama—the Rocket City—driving advancements in human spaceflight and helping shape the future of exploration.Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Infrastructure Management: Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple distributions, including OpenShift, Charm Kubernetes, and AWS EKS/OpenShift.</li><li>GitOps &amp; CI/CD: Architect and build Kubernetes solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques, utilizing ArgoCD and Argo Workflows for continuous delivery and GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Platform Tooling: Manage, maintain, and optimize core infrastructure tools such as GitLab, Red Hat Satellite, and Prometheus/Grafana to support both modern and legacy environments.</li><li>Troubleshooting &amp; Support: Act as an escalation point to troubleshoot complex, Kubernetes-based issues and provide operational support for legacy Linux and Windows virtualization solutions.</li><li>Architectural Guidance: Design and provide robust Kubernetes-based architectural solutions as project requirements evolve.</li><li>AI Infrastructure Support: Support and maintain infrastructure for in-house Artificial Intelligence efforts based on Red Hat AI on OpenShift and Poolside.ai.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent comparable experience).</li><li>Kubernetes Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions, specifically OpenShift, Charm Kubernetes, EKS and OpenShift in AWS GovCloud.</li><li>Operating Systems: Strong administration skills in Linux environments (Red Hat/RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, Windows).</li><li>CLI Proficiency: Fluent in essential command-line tools including oc, kubectl, virtctl, and standard Linux CLI utilities.</li><li>Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure.</li><li>GitOps &amp; Automation: Strong experience with GitOps methodologies using Visual Studio Code, GitLab, and ArgoCD.
