Evaluates customer support and field services commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.Detailed Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Process shipments using the ERP system.</li><li>Process shipments through the local and global Export systems.</li><li>Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with customs regulations for international shipments. </li><li>Arrange, schedule, book, and coordinate logistics activities, including quoting/negotiating rates with carriers to meet delivery deadlines.</li><li>Monitor the status of shipments throughout the delivery process and providing updates to internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings, coordinating with relevant parties like freight forwarders and customs to comply with all necessary export documentation and regulations.</li><li>May assist in generating reports on key logistics metrics like delivery times, inventory levels, and shipping cost.</li><li>Stores articles in an orderly and accessible manner in bins, on floor, or on shelves in warehouse or other areas, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.</li><li>Cuts stock to size to fill order. May move, transport, or distribute stock or supplies to other department and/or amongst production workers.</li><li>Communicate with shippers, customers, and internal staff to ensure shipping information is gathered and executed properly.</li><li>Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.</li><li>As directed, performs periodic cycle counts and/or physical inventories and maintains inventory records.</li><li>Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload trucks, move materials, and stage shipments; perform required routine pre-use inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., battery/propane checks, fluid levels, tires, forks, and safety devices), reporting any defects per procedure.</li><li>Additional duties may include:<ul><li>Receipt of inventory from/into stocking locations by following prescribed processes and handling procedures. May include material identification, counting, transporting, and packaging for end user or storage.</li><li>Pull/pick inventory to fulfill demand requirements.</li><li>Track and verify accuracy of inventory, counts and location, by physically counting and identifying inventory withing specific locations</li></ul></li></ul>Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
