This position is responsible for working with the marketing manager in the creation of business-building activities and marketing tools, including brand and product advertising, and development of content with internal and external groups. The Marketing Specialist also contributes to consumer and competitive research projects.YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans to establish pathways for growth in both core and adjacent markets.</li><li>Assist in the development and execution of multi-media campaigns, including print, media relations, digital platforms, and social media, to accomplish stated goals and metrics.  </li><li>Manage multiple projects with competing and conflicting timelines and priorities.</li><li>Collaborate on company website content development, SEO and SEM campaign creation and execution, and long-term channel maximization strategies.</li><li>Support a world-class customer experience for events such as trade shows, facility visits, and program milestone events, ensuring communication content development, application and execution.</li><li>Prepares reports to track media activity, KPIs and other metrics that measure progress.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.</li><li>Two (2) to Four (4) years of relevant experience.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.</li></ul>STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration (MBA).</li><li>Defense and aerospace industry experience.</li><li>Existing relationships with US media outlets, especially trade publications in the construction industry.</li><li>Exposure to international media markets and multicultural engagement.</li><li>Graphic design experience.</li><li>Strong writing and editing skills.</li><li>Background in business writing, journalism, copy editing and/or original writing.</li><li>Strong project management and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficiency using business software including Microsoft Office suite.</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONS The following represents general working conditions for this office-based role.
