This role is the primary driver of operational excellence, responsible for leading, hiring, and training high-performing teams of solar installers and service technicians. The Manager ensures every project is completed with maximum quality and efficiency by bridging the gap between the warehouse, project management team, and the job site. Key responsibilities include: ● Project &amp; Resource Oversight: Coordinating with Project Management and home owners to build efficient daily schedules that prioritize the most important work and have the correct team members with the correct equipment going to complete projects in the most efficient schedule possible. ● Operational Readiness: Managing warehouse organization to ensure all teams depart each morning with accurate job packets, proper equipment, and an actionable plan. ● Quality Control &amp; Documentation: Performing comprehensive project reviews and enforcing strict site protocols. time tracking of all direct report field employees ○ Track all Time off requests- Approve and relay to the PM team for effective scheduling. ● Daily Scheduling &amp; Appointment Management ○ Oversee daily appointment scheduling, dispatching, and real-time status updates across all active installation and service work orders. ○ Ensure field teams update project management software/CRM (Salesforce-Field Service) daily with accurate progress notes, photos, completion status, change orders, and any issues/delays. ○ Monitor and resolve scheduling conflicts, weather-related adjustments, permitting delays, or material shortages to minimize downtime and maintain high project completion rates. ○ Actively troubleshoot and problem solve with team members on site to avoid go backs. ● Project Oversight &amp; Review ○ Review all active residential solar projects daily to verify scope, quality, feasibility, budget adherence, and timeline progress. ○ Perform detailed project audits including site readiness, installation quality (mounting, wiring, inverter setup, panel alignment), interconnection status, and final commissioning. ○ Identify and correct deficiencies early; 5%       -% of jobs with billing / QA tix &lt; 5%       -Jobs completed within expected # of visits ○ Team safety score ○ Warehouse cycle count accuracy Qualifications &amp; Requirements ● Experience ○ 5+ years in residential solar operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing field installation and/or service teams. ○ Proven track record managing high-volume residential solar projects (50+ installs/year preferred). ● Technical Knowledge ○ Strong understanding of residential PV systems, including roof-mounted and ground-mounted installations, electrical integration, inverters, battery storage, and monitoring platforms. ○ Familiarity with NABCEP guidelines, NEC codes, OSHA standards, and common permitting/interconnection processes. ● Skills ○ Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills. ○ Proficiency with solar project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Enphase/Enlighten, Tesla, Solaredge). ○ Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities;
