Responsibilities include training of on-site personnel, corrective, and preventative maintenance of equipment onsite, system testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring the quality and safety of contractors performing any additional work required on-site. Requirements:  <ul><li>Manages safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the generation asset, in accordance with agreed contracts, regulatory requirements, operating plans, and budgets.</li><li>Manages and leads site safety and environmental concerns.</li><li>Works with and complies with RES HSQE as required.</li><li>Manages staff or subcontractors in performing Operation &amp; Maintenance on site.</li><li>Oversees on site work, including employees, contractors, or OEM technicians, as required.</li><li>Coordinates with contractors before, during, and after execution of work.</li><li>Audits the O&amp;M contractor's work and safety procedures on a day-to-day basis.</li><li>Manages and maintains spare parts inventory.</li><li>Uses facility materials and equipment properly.</li><li>Manages and monitors SCADA for the generation asset and substation, to ensure proper plant production.</li><li>Manages tracking of failures, alarms, downtime, maintenance and repairs, plant status and trends, and HSQE issues.</li><li>Maintains database of faults and maintenance/performance issues.</li><li>Ensures timely facility repairs and restarts after plant outages or equipment faults.</li><li>Plans and schedules equipment maintenance activities to minimize downtime, maintains facilities in good working order, and maximizes the availability of the equipment. This includes both annual and major outages.</li><li>Coordinates, communicates, and complies with the off-taker and transmission provider, regarding the grid, production, and outage issues.</li><li>Manages and inspects transmission lines performance, safety, and quality as required.</li><li>Completes and/or assists with NERC/ISO compliance reports with Owner and RES Support Service as required.</li><li>Maintains the facility according to ISO Standards.</li><li>Establishes quality relationships with clients, landowners, community, local authority, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Liaises with the landowners of the facility, dealing with the daily issues as they arise.</li><li>Manages Monthly, Annual, and all periodic facility reporting to; RES, client, landowner, off-taker, community, authorities, and other stakeholders as required.</li><li>Manages operational and HSQE procedures.</li><li>Writes JSA, procedures, and work instructions as needed.</li><li>Alerts the Director/Asset Manager/RES Engineers, of emerging faults and issues, required maintenance, serial defects, or retrofits. </li><li>Identifies and appraises plant improvement opportunities. </li><li>Reports to management, regularly as required; safety conditions, production, and environmental issues, planned or unplanned maintenance, etc.</li><li>Advises the V.P., Director, Area Site Manager, and Asset Manager of short to medium term forecasted costs and required maintenance with changes in expected budgets.  </li><li>Reviews invoices and costs charged to the asset are correct.</li><li>Works with AP to ensure prompt and correct payments are made.</li><li>Works with Accounting representative to ensure invoices and time are coded correctly.</li><li>Coordinates with RES Fleet Management as required.</li><li>Provides relief site management or operational support to other sites as requested.</li><li>Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.</li><li>Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies &amp; Procedures.</li></ul>Safety:<ul><li>Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.</li><li>Leads by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices while working.</li><li>Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct “at risk” behaviors.</li><li>Adheres to and ensures all site team members understands standard operating procedures.</li><li>Leads and supports the site team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing system in place.</li></ul>Leadership:<ul><li>Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation, and exceeding expectations.</li><li>Manages one or more direct reports.</li><li>Participates in hiring and selection process to fill positions on the team.</li><li>Communicates regularly with direct reports on goals, accomplishments, and information on policies.</li><li>Demonstrates leadership and expertise in eyes of client group.</li><li>Employee Development:</li></ul><ul><li>Provides tasks and assignments that challenge and stretch employees’ responsibilities.</li><li>Conducts regular discussions with employee(s) on personal development.
