If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div>What you’ll doBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:<ul><li>Build up and manage the Inhouse Logistics Operations Team, responsible for managing the parts receiving and warehousing for series production in Assembly Shop  </li><li>Lead Assembly Shop parts receiving and warehousing operations through frontline supervisors, overseeing approximately 200 hourly team members across three shifts and 20 specialists. </li><li>Ensure the operation of logistical equipment including the organization and implementation of emergency concepts, maintenance concepts, reparation concepts etc. </li><li>Ensure safety of operations under own responsibility, also considering ecological aspects </li><li>Management of the planning and implementation of new logistics processes, structures and equipment for the logistical supply of series production in Assembly Shop, </li><li>Execution and implementation of the problem-solving process and series optimization to ensure no production stop due to logistical failures, </li><li>Responsibility for recruiting, qualification planning and implementation of own personnel (white collars and blue collars) including outsourced personnel (if required) </li><li>Coordination of the annual inventory (full containers, empties) and permanent inventory at the site </li><li>Support own process control through planning and implementing KPIs with clear responsibility distribution, coordinate problem solving activity in case of deviance from the defined targets, </li><li>Analyze and authorize the department budget, assure its fulfillment and develop countermeasures to compensate deviation observed by optimizing or reassigning technical and human resources. </li><li>Ensure accuracy and maintain reference data in VW Group proprietary systems.  </li></ul>Location &amp; Travel Expectations:<ul><li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina.</li><li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li><li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li></ul>What you’ll bring We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
