The incumbent will also be responsible for contributing to the company’s financial targets while meeting all deliverables and milestones for the project.  Key Accountabilities:<ul><li>The Senior Project Manager has the overall projects supervision and is responsible for their project P&amp;L.</li><li>Coordinate the team regarding resource allocations within the projects with the Project Portfolio Director/Project Director, monitor and control the Projects, and report on overall performance.</li><li>Drive project execution and controlling until contract closure, supporting the team with a particular focus on:<ul><li>Managing performance, costs, schedule, quality, and risks &amp; opportunities for mitigation actions.</li><li>Managing interface with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction for the project(s).</li><li>Understanding product development dependencies.</li><li>Implementing, with the support of Operations (PMO), a solid and comprehensive EAC process, sales and cash forecasts and risks &amp; opportunities management.</li><li>Following Group processes, methods, tools, and practices to deliver projects.</li><li>Monitoring the performance of the different activities in all work packages.</li></ul></li><li>Ensuring lessons learned and driving Projects execution towards continuous improvement. This includes direct contribution to Transformation plans and execution of postmortem Projects lessons learned.</li><li>Managing URS Projects Management resources in their project(s), ensuring their optimum competence, development, and satisfaction, while supporting the Company’s footprints and SBP business goals.</li><li>Ensuring the development and training of Project skills and expertise to ensure that the required level is achieved and sustained.</li><li>Possess the ability to share vision and demonstrate direction from a leadership perspective, fostering a unified path for the projects team in their project(s). Demonstrate strength with compassion, creating an environment where the project team is motivated and focused on the objectives.</li><li>Display strong communication skills ensuring clarity with senior management, key customers, and the projects teams of their projects.  </li></ul>Key Requirements:<ul><li>15 years of experience in related industry or from technical/aerospace field.</li><li>5–10 years of experience as a project manager with people management/leadership experience.</li><li>University degree in Engineering (Electronic, Telecommunications, or Informatics) or equivalent experience gained through professional practice.</li><li>Strong technical expertise in Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) railway signaling systems, knowledge of New York specificities is a plus</li><li>Previous experience leading international projects in a matrix environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Able to deliver under pressure.</li><li>PMP or IPMA certification.</li><li>Located in New York Area</li><li>Strong English skills.  </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Engineering Degree is considered a plus.  </li></ul>The Company provides the following estimated compensation range and general description of benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
