<h2><span style="color:rgb(0, 32, 96);">What The Role Is</span></h2><p>This position reports to the Plant Manager and has primary responsibility for the Seville assets located in Ocotillo Wells, CA. </p><p>If you don’t meet 100% of the below qualifications but see yourself contributing, please submit your resume.</p><h2><span style="color:rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Be Doing</span></h2><ul><li>Monitor and enforce safe work practices as they relate to PV Solar plants and PV Solar BOP repairs and maintenance.</li><li>Primary responsibility: responsible to maintain sites availability at the highest state of operability, meeting contractual obligations, and budget</li><li>Manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the PV industry, with an emphasis on safety, planning/scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance.</li><li>Monitor and report on manufacture and third-party maintenance and repair efforts</li><li>Supervise/conduct/assist in trouble shooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems.</li><li>Monitors and manages the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment, tools, and reordering as necessary.</li><li>Inspect completed repairs and scheduled maintenance for quality assurance.</li><li>Maintain logs and records as required to record complete operating conditions for the facility and report and irregularities.</li><li>Ensures work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements.</li><li>Communicates regularly with Management and all site personnel, both individually and as a group, to ensure excellent two-way communication concerning operational and maintenance issues.</li><li>Participate in contract negotiations with sub-contractors and other vendors for parts and services required.</li><li>Responsible for manuals, updates, and work instructions for site personnel and PV systems</li><li>Develop standard work procedures.</li><li>Work overtime and non-standard working hours – (nights) as required</li></ul><h2><span style="color:rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Bring</span></h2><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>3 years of experience in the operation of Commercial Solar plants or 5 years of equivalent experience in instrumentation &amp; controls, MV/HV Electrical work.</li><li>Qualified to perform all routine and emergency operations at an electric generation facility and HV Switchyard.</li><li>Experience working with plant systems and computerized maintenance management systems.
