Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Security, this role goes well beyond a traditional GSOC operator: you will run core GSOC monitoring and dispatch operations while also performing protective intelligence, open-source intelligence (OSINT) risk monitoring, and travel risk monitoring. It is a blended operator and analyst role for someone who can watch the boards, run an incident, and produce sharp intelligence in the same day.</p><p>You will help protect Archer's people, assets, and reputation, supporting executive protection with protective intelligence and keeping a constant read on threats to the company and its travelers. This is a proof-of-concept role as we stand up the GSOC and its intelligence capability, and it is effectively a lead-caliber position: you will operate with real autonomy, exercise sound judgment where written protocols are still limited, and help write the protocols and build the workflows as you go. The coverage model and hours will take shape as the program matures.</p><p> </p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><p><strong>GSOC Operations</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor computer vision alarms, video surveillance, access control, and life-safety systems across Archer's sites, maintaining constant situational awareness.</li><li>Dispatch and coordinate response to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance, following established SOPs and escalation protocols.</li><li>Document incidents accurately and maintain clear logs, notifications, and shift communications.</li><li>Provide real-time support and situational awareness to field security teams and executive protection details.</li></ul><p><strong>Protective Intelligence &amp; OSINT Monitoring</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct OSINT monitoring to protect Archer's people, assets, and reputation, watching social media, news, online forums, and other open sources for threats to personnel, facilities, operations, and brand.</li><li>Support executive protection with protective intelligence, including threat monitoring, person-of-interest research, and event and venue intelligence.</li><li>Produce timely alerts and concise assessments, and escalate emerging risks to the GSOC, executive protection, and leadership as appropriate.</li></ul><p><strong>Travel Risk Monitoring</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor global travel risk and support destination risk assessments and advisories for traveling employees and executives.</li><li>Track geopolitical, security, weather, and other events that could affect employee travel, and flag disruptions and threats promptly.</li></ul><p><strong>Products, Coordination &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li>Produce clear, concise written products, including incident logs, spot reports, shift summaries, and intelligence briefs.</li><li>Coordinate closely with fellow operators, executive protection, and stakeholders across the business.</li><li>Write and refine SOPs, protocols, and workflows, and help build the GSOC and intelligence function's sources, tooling, and reporting standards from the ground up.</li><li>Exercise sound, independent judgment during incidents and monitoring where written protocols are limited or still being developed.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a GSOC, security operations center, dispatch, or monitoring environment, and/or in intelligence analysis / OSINT, or a related security, military, or law enforcement role, with the maturity and track record to help stand up a program.</li><li>Ability to monitor multiple systems simultaneously, stay calm under pressure, and act decisively during incidents.</li><li>Strong aptitude for sound, independent judgment in ambiguous situations where written protocols are limited or still evolving.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to help write protocols and SOPs and build workflows, not just follow them.</li><li>Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and reliability, setting the standard for a proof-of-concept program that we intend to build out.</li><li>Open-source research skills, or a strong analytical foundation and the ability to learn OSINT tradecraft quickly.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear logs, reports, and intelligence products.</li><li>Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and deciding what to share, with whom, and when.</li><li>Comfort working across multiple security and technology platforms.</li><li>Flexibility and willingness to support evolving coverage needs, including some evenings, weekends, or holidays, as this proof-of-concept program takes shape.</li><li>Uncompromising ethics and integrity, and the self-awareness to admit mistakes quickly and learn from them.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Active U.S. government security clearance.</li><li>Protective intelligence or OSINT experience directly supporting an executive protection program.</li><li>Experience with travel risk or geopolitical risk monitoring.</li><li>Familiarity with GSOC platforms, intelligence and OSINT tools, social media monitoring, and dark web research.</li><li>Foreign language proficiency.</li><li>Experience in aerospace, defense, technology, or another high-profile, multi-site environment.</li></ul><p>Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.</p><p> </p><p>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
