AECOM is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with strong technical background and attention to detail to be based in Germantown, MD.This role will support a wide range of geotechnical projects across multiple sectors, including major infrastructure, federal, commercial (data‑center development etc.), in diverse geologies and locations throughout the U.S. and internationally.In this role, you will be aligned with our Germantown geotechnical team and collaborate with other interdisciplinary teams from Germantown and additional locations throughout the US East to provide consulting services for impactful infrastructure projects. Our team offers geotechnical expertise across various sectors, and you will have the chance to work on projects both locally, regionally and globally, covering all phases from planning and site investigation to detailed design and construction.As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of mid- to large-scale projects, including managing subsurface investigations, conducting engineering analysis, preparing geotechnical design recommendations, and overseeing design and reporting to fulfill client requirements and project goals.
