AECOM is seeking a Lead Mechanical Project Manager to be based in Las Vegas, NV:Job responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Manages all mechanical activities associated with assigned project including but not limited to, pre-construction, design, phased construction, closeout coordination, commissioning, start-up and occupancy and warranty enforcement.</li><li>Serve as the primary mechanical point of contract between the client, GC’s, EPC’s, AECOM staff and project stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure alignment between mechanical infrastructure requirements and overall project objectives.</li><li>Oversee installation of mission-critical mechanical systems including, but not limited to: Chillers, CRAH and CRAC units, mechanical dry coolers, coolant system piping and pumps, air handling equipment.</li><li>Monitor contractor performance and conduct field inspections to verify installation quality, progress and conformance to contract specifications.</li><li>Coordinate mechanical milestones with electrical, civil, architectural, and commissioning teams.</li><li>May provide technical direction and guidance to others as needed as administers client and AECOM policies, maintains close interface with project team, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule and quality requirements.</li><li>Work with commissioning agents, GC’s, EPC’s and client to ensure successful commissioning activities, phased start-up and turnover of different portions of the buildings on-site.</li><li>Monitor construction work progress, process field construction documentation (RFI and submittal validation and logging), also provide engineering support and coordination of construction field activities with inspectors.</li><li>Coordinate with the general contractor on required meetings and attend all site-based meetings.</li><li>Coordinate project documentation with Project Controls (cost and schedule) reviewers.</li><li>Review and provide comments on submitted Pay Applications.</li><li>Work with client’s OFCI firm to review and document condition of any off-site stored mechanical equipment including gathering all the necessary insurances and bill of sales for Owner supporting pay application review and approval on behalf of the Owner.</li></ul>
