Here is what we are looking for:The BIM Modeller performs routine, structured work in a required discipline and demonstrates ability to take on more complex tasks. This is an intermediate user in Autodesk Revit Software (Buildings) or similar, who can draw/model with limited supervision having the ability to create content within a specific discipline.<ul><li>Must also be an intermediate user in other core discipline specific software.</li><li>Good understanding and experience in modelling in REVIT and other BIM platforms.</li><li>Understand BIM modelling principles.</li><li>Discipline in approach to engineering.</li><li>General knowledge of local standards and codes.</li><li>Be able to work within a disciplined engineering environment. </li><li>An intimate working knowledge of REVIT.</li><li>Working knowledge of clash detection Software Applications.</li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.</li><li>An intimate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, etc.</li><li>Good communication and people management skills for effective interface with other engineering disciplines, the client and contractors.</li><li>The ability to work independently.</li><li>An awareness and appreciation for health, safety and environmental issues.</li><li>Routine/repeated tasks accomplished within assistance</li><li>Receives guidance or direction from others with limited discretion to vary from established procedures</li><li>Contributes by performing routine, structure work assignments in specific job function, expanding complexity of tasks performed</li><li>Follow standard operating procedures/methodologies, using them to solve routine or standard problems.</li><li>Identifies problems in existing procedures.</li><li>General proficiency with tools, systems and procedures required for role</li><li>May need continued support on some technical issues</li><li>Applies experiences and skills to complete assigned tasks within area of expertise</li></ul>
