The role involves managing project scope, plan, risks, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Detailed Descrption:<ul><li>Manage complex cross-functional delivery of R&amp;D and customer funded projects, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.</li><li style="color:black !important;">Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to align project plans, resource needs, and delivery milestones, operating effectively in a matrix structure.</li><li style="color:black !important;">Maintain robust customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication of project goals, risks, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li style="color:black !important;">Implement and champion project management best practices, tools, and governance processes across the portfolio.</li><li style="color:black !important;">Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project; manage reporting through Project Server and other PM tools.</li><li style="color:black !important;">Coordinate timely Phase Gate Reviews and ensure that project scope, risks, and Teledyne Confidential; Commercially Sensitive Business Data dependencies are clearly defined, managed, and escalated as needed.</li><li style="color:black !important;">Monitor project budgets and financial performance, working closely with the Finance team to analyse forecasts, estimate-to-complete (ETC), and risk-adjusted cost exposure.</li><li>Prepare and present regular project dashboards and performance updates to the Senior Leadership Team.</li><li>Support sales and business development efforts by contributing to bids and the technical proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams.</li></ul> Preferred Skills/Experience:<ul><li>Experience of managing engineering projects through all or part of the lifecycle from bid to production, with an emphasis on new product development.</li><li>Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage customer expectations and avoid unwanted scope creep.</li></ul><ul><li>Persuasive and clear communication skills across all levels of the business.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong problem-solving capabilities.</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in the use and understanding of Project Management / resource tools such as</li></ul><ul><li>undefined</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge and qualification in APM Body of Knowledge, PRINCE2, PMP methodologies</li></ul><ul><li>undefined</li></ul><ul><li>A working knowledge of SAP would be beneficial</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Due to the nature of some of the projects you need to be eligible, or already hold, security clearance and will be a UK National. </li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
