Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and regulatory support to generating facilities in the Carolinas service area. This is the third level of the non-Engineer degreed technical support role job classification. Engineering Technologist provides technical expertise to solve more complex problems and leadership skills to provide oversight and direction of work in a specific area of expertise, with limited supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with a high degree of independence.</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide day-to-day CEMS compliance support and oversight, ensure the reliable transfer of signals to/from the Data Acquisition and Handling System (DAHS), and ensure DAHS programming satisfies regulatory standards and operational needs.</li><li>Work Management: Collaborate with facility operations and project management to implement preventive maintenance, resolve corrective maintenance, and coordinate improvements.</li><li>Stack Tests: Coordinate tests with station operations, ensure facility equipment protection and contractor safety, and verify compliant procedures are followed.</li><li>Regulatory Submittals: Quality assure emissions data, prepare reports, and verify report content and calculations prior to submittal.</li><li>Serves as subject matter expert for
