We’re a large team of both data-led and product focused Software and Production Engineers, pushing the boundaries of technology and working at an extraordinary scale. As a collective we strive for engineering greatness and by ensuring best practices across the board of the community.Our tech stack is fluid, but broadly you can find yourself working with:Typescript, Node JS, Terraform, Gitactions, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Kafka, GraphQL Responsibilities<ul><li>Build and maintain backend services using modern technologies like TypeScript and Node.js.</li><li>Learn to work with event-driven systems and cloud platforms (especially AWS).</li><li>Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to develop customer-facing features.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to grow your technical skills.</li><li>Contribute to the ongoing development of services and systems, with support from your team.</li><li>Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to manage and retrieve data.</li><li>Take part in team discussions, stand-ups, and planning sessions to understand how we build at scale.</li><li>Ask questions, seek feedback, and share what you’re learning to support a positive team environment.</li></ul>About You Ideally, you'll have/be:<ul><li>Some hands-on experience writing backend code, ideally in TypeScript, or keen to learn it.</li><li>A basic understanding of cloud technologies or interest in learning about platforms like AWS.</li><li>Familiarity with databases and APIs, and a desire to build reliable software.</li><li>A collaborative and open mindset, you're excited to learn from others and contribute to a team.</li><li>A curiosity for how things work and a proactive attitude to improving your skills.</li><li>Passion for building technology that solves real problems for users.</li><li>Bonus: exposure to frontend development</li></ul>Where you'll workWe offer flexible working, with an expectation of 3 days a week in the office.
