As a Senior Cost Manager at AECOM Netherlands, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Project Managers with comprehensive cost control across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will be responsible for both client-facing and internal project management activities, ensuring robust cost evaluation, effective change management, and accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle.You will join a dynamic Netherlands team of 110 professionals based in The Hague, forming part of AECOM’s global network of over 50,000 experts. This extensive network enables us to bring a wealth of knowledge, innovation, and best practices to every project we deliver.  Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Monitor and control project budgets, providing ongoing cost reviews and trend assessments.</li><li>Advise on value engineering and cost optimization strategies to keep projects within budget.</li><li>Coordinate the variations process and manage change orders, including evaluation of client changes and contra charges.</li><li>Review and approve contractor invoices, prepare interim payment certificates, and oversee the settlement of final accounts.</li><li>Attend and contribute to regular cost meetings, producing clear and concise monthly cost reports.</li><li>Deliver cost advisory services and support value/cost analysis for both internal stakeholders and clients.</li><li>Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency.</li><li>Develop efficient cost management system for the energy sector</li><li>Participate in the bid process as required, supporting the bidding team with input and pricing for cost management fee services.</li></ul>
