We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of production operations for an assigned shift. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality manufacturing while leading, coaching, and developing production employees. The Production Supervisor partners with cross-functional teams to meet production goals, drive continuous improvement, and support talent development within the Production Department. What You Will Do <ul><li>Supervise daily shift operations and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and output targets are achieved.</li><li>Execute production schedules while optimizing labour utilization and machine performance.</li><li>Lead shift-transition and pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities and operational updates.</li><li>Monitor production KPIs, downtime, scrap rates, and performance metrics using manufacturing systems and reports.</li><li>Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with Maintenance, Tooling, Quality, and Process teams.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO standards, documentation requirements, and audit readiness.</li><li>Manage departmental expenditures and provide regular performance reporting.</li></ul> Leadership &amp; People Development <ul><li>Coach, mentor, and develop production associates through training and performance management.</li><li>Conduct evaluations, succession planning, and employee development activities.</li><li>Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and certification processes.</li><li>Build a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.</li></ul> Health, Safety &amp; Environmental Leadership <ul><li>Champion a zero-injury safety culture and promote proactive hazard reporting.</li><li>Ensure compliance with HSE policies, ISO 9001 requirements, and internal standards.</li><li>Support incident investigations, corrective actions, inspections, and JHSC activities.</li><li>Lead 5S initiatives and contribute to environmental sustainability goals.</li></ul> Continuous Improvement <ul><li>Lead initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.</li><li>Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Support management-of-change reviews and standardized work practices.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.</li><li>5+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally within a safety-focused production environment.</li><li>Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices in manufacturing.</li><li>Experience with plastics  fabrication, or related processes preferred.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.</li><li>Experience with conflict resolution</li></ul> Key Competencies <ul><li>Critical Thinking &amp; Problem Solving</li><li>People Leadership &amp; Coaching</li><li>Continuous Improvement Mindset</li><li>Operational Excellence</li><li>Communication &amp; Collaboration</li><li>Technical Manufacturing Knowledge</li></ul> Working Environment This position operates within a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to machinery, industrial noise, chemicals, raw materials, powered industrial vehicles, and varying production demands.
