This is an exciting opportunity to play a key commercial role on some of Ireland's most significant rail infrastructure programmes, helping to deliver projects that improve connectivity, support sustainable transport, and shape the future of mobility.Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide commercial leadership and cost management services across all stages of the project lifecycle. You'll collaborate with clients, designers, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery while driving value, managing risk, and maintaining robust financial control.What You'll DoAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality quantity surveying and commercial management services across complex rail and metro projects. Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Deliver quantity surveying and cost management services across major rail and metro infrastructure projects.</li><li>Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, budgets, tender documentation, and procurement reports.</li><li>Lead cost planning and cost control activities throughout the full project lifecycle.</li><li>Administer contracts and support procurement strategies in accordance with project requirements.</li><li>Evaluate tenders, variations, compensation events, claims, and final accounts.</li><li>Monitor project costs, cash flow, forecasts, and commercial performance against approved budgets.</li><li>Identify commercial risks and opportunities while supporting value engineering initiatives to optimise project outcomes.</li><li>Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.</li><li>Prepare commercial reports and provide accurate financial forecasting to support informed decision-making.</li><li>Ensure compliance with AECOM governance, contractual obligations, and industry best practice.</li><li>Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, contributing to the continued growth and development of the team.</li></ul>This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile rail and metro programmes in Ireland while developing your career within one of the world's leading infrastructure consultancies.
