Our GFL site in Pickering, ON is looking for a Billing Administrator who will be responsible for managing the billing process, which includes creating and processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to resolve discrepancies and communicate with clients and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Enter data into company operational management system (OMS) for invoicing </li><li>Review paperwork from each job, ensure the required documents and information is available, and enter data for invoicing, including providing back-up documentation to the client. </li></ul><ul><li>Request system edits, revisions or editions as needed </li></ul><ul><li>Update/entry in various excel reports as required. </li></ul><ul><li>Undertaking emails from customers regarding invoice disputes/inquiries. </li></ul><ul><li>Follow up with internal contacts to confirm billing items. </li></ul><ul><li>Understand the specific needs of clients to correctly send documents to clients as required and upon request </li></ul><ul><li>To assist with other duties as assigned by the manager or designate </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: <ul><li>Previous experience is considered an asset. </li></ul><ul><li>The ability to review data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems is key to resolving billing issues.  </li></ul><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy </li></ul><ul><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.  </li></ul><ul><li>Computer literacy, including effective working skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in the waste industry is considered an asset. </li></ul><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED, Associate’s Degree preferred </li></ul>#GFLTalent  We thank you for your interest.
