You stay with the problem until it is solved.What You Will Do<ul style=""><li>Own product design, manufacture, and daily technical work with suppliers.</li><li>Design and release enclosures, skid structures, lifting features, equipment layouts, routing, sealing, grounding, and service access.</li><li>Keep CAD, drawings, BOMs, work instructions, inspection, and as-built records aligned.</li><li>Resolve supplier, fit-up, quality, and schedule issues.</li><li>Build, inspect, and troubleshoot prototypes and production hardware.</li><li>Turn R&amp;D designs into repeatable production.</li></ul>Must-Haves<ul style=""><li>4+ years and a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical training.</li><li>Switchgear or similar electromechanical power-equipment experience.</li><li>Experience taking a product from incomplete requirements to working hardware.</li><li>Strong CAD, GD&amp;T, drawing, BOM, and change-control skills.</li><li>Supplier and production issue ownership.</li><li>Hands-on measurement, assembly, inspection, and troubleshooting experience.</li><li>Able to work on-site full-time in Long Beach.</li></ul>Nice-to-Haves<ul style=""><li>Switchboards, panelboards, transfer equipment, PCS skids, or packaged power systems.</li><li>UL 891, UL 1558, NEMA 250, NFPA 70, UL 9540, or NFPA 855.</li><li>Sheet metal, weldments, machining, sealing, lifting, or thermal design.</li><li>SolidWorks or Onshape, hand calculations, and tolerance stacks.</li></ul>Work Authorization Critical Loop does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
