Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Diagnose and repair complex, modern CNG and diesel engines, and advanced electrical and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Perform repairs and preventive maintenance tasks such as PM and safety inspections.</li><li>Complete required record keeping associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.</li><li>Review, plan and schedule work as required.</li><li>Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to company safety procedures.</li><li>Ensure shop equipment and tools are kept in a safe operating condition.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Education: Currently enrolled in or completed a pre-apprenticeship or technical training program.</li><li>Licensing: Valid Driver’s License is required.</li><li>Tools: Must provide your own basic tools and have a willingness to acquire more as you progress.</li></ul> Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:<ul><li>Knowledge of tools required to perform repairs and maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.</li><li>Ability to follow schedules, instructions, technical manuals and maintenance guidelines, and other procedures associated with the maintenance of company fleet assets.</li><li>Must be computer literate and willing and able to be trained in software systems.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.</li><li>Ability to be a self-starter capable of working effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributor.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li></ul> Working Conditions:The Technician must be able to work inside and/or outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat.
