This role manages a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects, builds pathways to major giving, and translates Kiva’s impact into opportunities for deeper engagement and support.As an individual contributor on the Strategic Partnerships team, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Marketing and Communications, Product and Engineering, and impact-focused teams to strengthen donor relationships, improve the giving experience, and support proposals and reporting. Success requires sound judgment, strong writing, and the ability to independently manage complex work while collaborating across teams.At this time, we can only consider applicants with authorization to work in the United States on a permanent, full-time basis; unfortunately we cannot provide visa sponsorship.Key responsibilities include: <ul><li>Individual and mid-level donor strategy and engagement (40%)</li><ul><li>Manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio composed primarily of mid-level and major-tier donors and prospects, with support from Strategic Partnerships colleagues. Develop tailored engagement, solicitation, and stewardship plans that deepen commitment and create pathways to major gifts.</li><li>Develop and implement an engagement strategy for donor-advised fund sponsors, philanthropic advisors, and other “gatekeeper” professionals who influence charitable giving. Equip Kiva relationship managers with approaches and resources they can use to build these partnerships.</li><li>Partner with colleagues to improve website journeys, digital communications, and unique Kiva offerings such as managed lending for mid-level and major donors.</li><li>Represent Kiva in donor and advisor conversations, bringing in colleagues with relevant expertise when needed.
