You’ll build the engine that turns leads into Base members: customer segmentation, automations, and content.Most of your time will go to building communication infrastructure and experimentation in our CRM, combined with writing excellent, high-converting content that builds a system that educates, nurtures, and converts members at scale.If you love testing, data, segmentation, and building something category-defining from the ground up, this role is for you.<h2>What You'll Do</h2>CRM &amp; Lifecycle Architecture<ul style=""><li>Own our CRM platform end to end: build and manage workflows, automations, segmentation, lead scoring, and data hygiene</li><li>Design, build, and optimize multi-step lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, and in-app touchpoints, tailored to different audience segments</li><li>Build reporting and dashboards to track lifecycle KPIs; continuously test and optimize sends, segmentation, and triggers to improve engagement and conversion</li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain data integrity across integrated systems (CRM, ESP, analytics tools)</li></ul>Copy &amp; Content<ul style=""><li>Translate complex concepts into simple, consumer-friendly language</li><li>Write content across the funnel: email and SMS sequences, landing pages, scripts, onboarding flows, newsletters, and paid and organic creative</li><li>Define our voice and implement messaging across key brand touchpoints: web, email, SMS, social, and beyond</li><li>Collaborate with design, ops, and sales to keep messaging consistent across the journeys you build </li></ul><h2>What You'll Bring</h2><ul style=""><li>3–7+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM/marketing operations, growth marketing, or content strategy at fast-paced companies</li><li>Deep, hands-on experience building and optimizing lifecycle journeys in HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, or similar CRMs — workflows, automations, integrations, and reporting</li><li>Comfort in the technical details of CRM configuration, plus strong writing and copywriting ability</li><li>Proven ability to create organic content strategies that grow audience and engagement</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate across multiple stakeholders</li><li>A data-driven approach to measuring and improving performance</li></ul><h2>About the Team</h2>The Growth team at Base is lean, high-ownership, and results-driven.
