This will involve interaction with Engineering, Project Management, Contractors and other Project Stakeholders to ensure effective work planning and coordination regarding Health and Safety performance, ensuring everyone affected by our activities remains safe. This will require advising, coaching, mentoring, influencing and monitoring best-practice project safety management. You will be required to assist with the delivery of the departmental Health and Safety Operating Plan, undertake planned audits and inspections, provide incident investigation support to Project Teams and participate in specific project Health and Safety initiatives as required.  Responsibilities As Health and Safety Advisor, you will provide professional Health and Safety advice and support to Project Teams, actively encouraging and supporting the implementation of measures that enable both the company and individuals to effectively demonstrate legal compliance. You will contribute to the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System, while ensuring Health and Safety monitoring targets, including audits and inspections are achieved. This role will involve providing professional advice and support for incident investigations, ranging from minor events through to Panel of Inquiry incidents.
