To achieve our goals, we are hiring a Policy Director to support ev.energy&rsquo;s engagement with Public Utilities Commissions, regulators, policy-makers, and other key stakeholders across the US. This leadership role will have significant responsibility, autonomy, and potential for future growth within the company.
&nbsp;
Working closely with the Head of North America, you will:
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with other commercial colleagues across the business to develop a US regulatory strategy that supports ev.energy&rsquo;s long-term commercial and growth ambitions;</li>
<li>Lead ev.energy&rsquo;s engagement at PUCs and other relevant regulatory bodies, and publicly represent the company to Commissioners, utilities and third parties in open meetings and workshops discussing EV charging and/or demand-side management;</li>
<li>Determine which proceedings and rulemakings for ev.energy to participate in that will expand the market for ev.energy&rsquo;s managed charging services, including dockets for transport electrification and demand-side management;</li>
<li>Draft and submit compelling written comments and testimony on behalf of ev.energy;</li>

<h2>What are we looking for?</h2>
We&rsquo;re looking for an experienced policy professional with a proven record of market development in North America. You&rsquo;ve crafted and implemented a utility regulatory strategy, from identifying key proceedings and personnel to seeing a positive policy enacted. You have an ability to filter out the important regulatory movement from the noise, and you can put complex policies into a business context. You have outstanding communication skills and communicate a point of view in a compelling and persuasive way both in written form and verbally. Your relationship building skills will further the policy objectives of ev.energy and the overall goal of electrifying transportation.

Required Qualifications:

<li>6+ years of policy and regulatory experience in the US within the energy/utility sectors;</li>
<li>Pre-existing understanding of the US energy landscape including state-level regulations and programs, federal legislation, and electricity markets;</li>

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Driver Experience team. Your mission will be to simplify our drivers&rsquo; EV charging experience, so they can save money, reduce emissions and support the grid. We're building the world&rsquo;s largest Virtual Power Plant by connecting electric vehicles with the energy system. To date we have a community of over 100,000 EV drivers who are helping to balance smart electricity grids across the US, Europe and Australia.
We are looking for a talented professional with commercial and technical experience in Demand Side Response to help scale our grid services business across North America.
In this role, you will be working to accelerate the decarbonization of transport and energy by expanding our Virtual Power Plant and making electric vehicles part of the solution for a smart, flexible, zero-carbon energy system.
Day to day, you&rsquo;ll be leading the development of our virtual power plant and grid service contracts in North America. You&rsquo;ll be working to unlock and scale new flexibility contracts with energy utilities across California, Texas and other markets. You&rsquo;ll also work closely with the commercial, growth and engineering teams to help shape our technology roadmap and the product propositions we offer to EV drivers, energy networks, energy retailers, charger manufacturers and vehicle OEMs.
This industry is moving fast, and this role will involve keeping up to date with key policy and regulation evolving in the EV and Net-Zero space. This position is fully remote, ideally positioned in the USA with ability to travel to meet key contacts in California, the North East US and other key grid service markets. We have regular local meet-ups and quarterly company team weeks to keep everyone connected and supported.

With APIs that cover 95% of the light-duty EV market, we&rsquo;re building on significant traction in all 50 states and with dozens of major regulated utilities, expanding our reach and impact.
To achieve this&nbsp;we're hiring two mission-driven Sales Directors to lead our continued expansion with regulated utilities and electricity retailers across North America. These are leadership roles that encompass significant responsibility, autonomy and potential for further growth within the company.
Working closely with the Head of North America, you will:&nbsp;

<li>Build and grow our sales pipeline by identifying and proactively sourcing potential clients (regulated utilities, community choice aggregators and electricity retailers) with a demonstrated interest in managed EV charging</li>
<li>Work closely with our Policy Director to track state-level regulatory proceedings for utility prospects, seizing opportunities for business development</li>
<li>Identify and work with strategic partners to develop and execute on joint go-to-market efforts and product propositions.</li>

<li>Prepare high-quality presentations; and organize and lead educational, pitch and scoping meetings with utility and other prospects</li>
<li>Independently lead our response to requests for proposals or information (RFPs and RFIs), working with counterparts across the business to develop and submit high-quality and competitive proposal materials, including pricing, leading our efforts to submit competitive proposals</li>
<li>Convert utilities from prospect to client through contract negotiations and signature by&nbsp;working closely with the CEO and Head of North America to close deals with your prospects</li>

What are we looking for?
We&rsquo;re looking for proven B2B sales professionals with a proven record in closing enterprise SaaS contracts. You'll have led and managed the full business development cycle, from cold outreach and networking to pitch meetings and responding to competitive RFPs. You'll have outstanding communication skills, including meticulous writing and the ability to translate technical information into a compelling narrative. Your relationship building skills make you an indispensable and influential advisor and position the company for highly competitive opportunities. You&rsquo;re driven and motivated by ambitious sales targets, and you demonstrate the tenacity and emotional intelligence needed to close deals. Optimally, you understand the realities of regulated utilities, CCAs and electricity retailers, as well as the intricacies of North American power grids and electricity markets.&nbsp;

The role
Following a number of major contract wins, we're looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead on the delivery and execution of some of our EV charging programs with energy utilities. Reporting to the Director of Utility Solutions, you'll be working closely with our utility partners to scope, execute and grow residential EV charging programs that help EV drivers save money while delivering tangible grid and network benefits.&nbsp;
You'll work with our front end engineering team to build and test utility-branded mobile apps allowing EV drivers to seamlessly enroll and participate in the program, consult with our back-end engineering team to build APIs and portals to connect to EVs and chargers, aligning them with renewable energy generation, and work with our CS team to resolve bugs and ensure utilities and drivers are delighted with our product.&nbsp;
What will you be doing?&nbsp;

<li>Translating signed commercial contracts into concrete project management plans that can be used by both utility/CCA clients and our team to scope out key workstreams, identify interdependencies and ensure deliverables are ready on time and to budget&nbsp;</li>
