Rebate programs, including the upcoming Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) home energy rebates, are a key driver of these energy efficiency and electrification projects. These rebate programs can also create significant friction at point of sale, with contractors forced to spend an inordinate amount of time collecting data, modeling energy savings, and/or processing paperwork. Sealed reduces this friction by serving as a program aggregator, doing all of the rebate processing and payment on behalf of the contractor. In order to further reduce friction, Sealed works collaboratively with programs to balance accountability of rebate funds with unnecessary processes that harm contractors and homeowners. As a Program Development Manager, you will lead our efforts to provide utility and government program partners with the information they need to make the best program design decisions. Specifically,  you will: <ul><li>Work closely with program implementers to understand their goals and constraints and deliver solutions that address their priorities.</li><li>Draft program design materials, which may include program manuals, process diagrams, and template program agreements.</li><li>Create explanatory visuals to communicate how and why Sealed recommends specific program elements.</li><li>Manage a pipeline of prospective programs, and provide recommendations on how Sealed should prioritize support of new programs.</li><li>Support Sealed executives in preparation for meetings with program leadership.</li></ul>Who Are You? You love nothing more than diving into the details, making sure that every “t” is crossed and “i” is dotted, while also driving projects forward. In the past year, this function has re-defined our core business model, shifting the company from a direct-to-consumer (DTC) to business-to-business (B2B) model with contractors as our main customers. You will work with and report directly to our Co-Founder, Andy Frank, to identify, analyze, and validate opportunities that expand the Sealed product-market fit and are aligned with our mission to stop energy waste and electrify every home. MBA Summer Intern

The bridge between climate policy, contractors, and homeowners Sealed is taking action in the residential energy efficiency and electrification space by eliminating the frictions between ambitious climate policy programs and 100 million US homes which need to be upgraded. We build software which helps HVAC, electrical, and plumbing professionals identify and distribute billions of dollars of energy efficiency incentives to homeowners. We are looking for an outstanding Product Manager (PM) who wants to work on pragmatic solutions to real day-to-day challenges faced by our customers, who are contractors in the field. As a PM at Sealed, you'll have the unique opportunity to ship features to our proprietary software within weeks of developing new hypotheses about our users’ biggest challenges. The data we collect will be on the cutting edge and one of the most comprehensive views of residential energy efficiency, which is a key to achieving our climate goals. As a member of our Product &amp; Engineering team, you'll also be instrumental in shaping our culture and practices.We are looking for a “utility” player who can cover several important areas of product development: requirements, testing and analytics.
