Traveling Field Technician

Aeroseal is an innovative company in the commercial and residential HVAC technology field providing novel technology to seal duct systems non-intrusively from the inside.  Sealed duct systems provide building occupants with higher air quality while generating significant savings to consumers by delivering conditioned air exclusively where it is supposed to go, and by doing so more efficiently.  Aeroseal’s patent-protected technology provides our expanding dealer network a true market differentiating solution offering so they can seal leaky ductwork that no one else is able to use conventional manual methods of duct sealing.  We are looking to hire a Technical Support Repair Technician with a background in, or keen interest for electro-mechanical system operations as well as basic understanding of diesel-powered machine and auto service repair and preventative maintenance.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAs the TNS Repair Technician, you will perform a variety of tasks in support of the TNS Solutions – the Aeroseal direct work division.  You will be work working with the Technical Support Department at Aeroseal corporate in assisting TNS crews with preventative maintenance and repairs of field equipment and capital assets. You will also provide day-to-day support to TNS project managers with job equipment repairs and maintenance, training to become an expert subject matter resource for our various product lines.  Additionally, you will be managing the entire TNS division fleet of vans and trucks – ongoing repairs and preventative maintenance.Your specific duties will include:<ul> <li>Troubleshooting and performing basic repairs on company equipment that needs diagnosis and repair service.</li> <li>Dis-assembling field equipment and cleaning it and restoring it to good working order.</li> <li>Conducting in-house testing of instrument hardware and software.</li> <li>Managing repair work appropriately regarding timelines, follow-up, etc. to prevent an escalation of issues, and ensuring we close out cases with a closed loop process.</li> <li>Assisting in upgrade campaigns of current field equipment to the latest iteration of our technology.</li> <li>Interacting with other staff or departments, when necessary, for information to assist investigation and resolution of issues.</li> <li>Documenting—using Salesforce.com CRM and departmental Standard Operating Procedures—capturing all interaction with the TNS and Aeroseal corporate team members and supporting information gathered in the resolution of issues.</li> <li>Developing and maintaining a high level of product and application knowledge on Aeroseal and AeroBarrier solution offerings</li> <li>Elevating issues to manager or senior technical staff as necessary to deliver timely issue resolution.</li></ul>REQUIRED SKILLSAs the TNS Repair Technician, you must be detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytic and problem-solving abilities. Repair Technician, TNS

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Technician to oversee and manage duct sealing projects in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in HVAC systems, and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards in all projects. The Lead HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in coordinating on-site activities, managing project teams, and ensuring successful project completion within specified timelines and budgets.Key Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all on-site activities related to commercial duct sealing projects.</li> <li>Team Leadership: Supervise and direct a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.</li> <li>Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets Aeroseal’s quality standards and client specifications. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.</li> <li>Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork to troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and optimize project outcomes.</li> <li>Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, addressing any concerns and providing project updates.</li> <li>Resource Management: Manage materials, tools, and equipment necessary for project completion. Ensure proper maintenance and inventory control.</li> <li>Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.</li> <li>Reporting: Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, incident reports, and project completion documentation.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul> <li>Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the HVAC industry, preferably with a focus on duct sealing or similar projects.</li> <li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
